Vintage Trek 720 touring bike frameset. Trek built and measured using inches, and this is a 22" frame. 55cm seat tube c-t-c, 57cm c-t-t. 55cm top tube. Lugged Reynolds 531 frame and fork with Campagnolo dropouts. Built originally for 27" wheels, I was running 700c wheels. Some 700c rim and brake combos may be difficult. Fits cantilever or v-brakes. 27.2mm seatpost. ~126mm rear spacing. 1" threaded fork fits 22.2mm quill stems. As pictured with downtube and rear brake cable stop, ~6.6 lbs. Very clean bike, looks great for 40 years old. Still the gold standard for tourers after all these years. Dupont Imron paint is in great shape, with a few minor scuffs. There is a small ding on the downtube. I acquired the bike this way, and have never seen the ding beneath the touchup paint. It feels like the ding is very minor, made more apparent by heavy touchup paint. I briefly attempted to remove the touchup, but it seems they used a high quality paint, and i was not able to easily remove. Left it alone to avoid damaging the original paint. Absolutely inconsequential, strictly cosmetic. Theres a small scratch in the paint on one lug, also pictured in detail. Bottom bracket shell is nice and clean. Chainstay has some scratches driveside from chain contact. No kickstand marring. Please review all photos and feel free to message us with any questions.
